Friends celebrated the retirements of Dr. Mark Zilkoski and Myrle Zilkoski during a gathering at Missouri Breaks Brewing on Saturday, July 16.
Dr. Z is retiring after practicing medicine in the area for 34 years. He explained that he first started in the area from 1980-1984, and then came back in 1992.
He noted that he will still do some medical work in Wolf Point.

Kyrsten Miller of Frazer came away with first runner- up honors at the Miss Montana Volunteer Pageant held in Glendive.
In addition, Miller earned first place in the swimsuit portion of the competition.
When asked about her biggest highlight, she noted, “walking out during the opening number and seeing my family in the crowd. It made me want to work even harder to put on my best performance

The program took place at Fort Peck Community College’s Demont building in Wolf Point. Students then completed a nature walk at Wolf Creek to see locally grown plants.

After a great celebration for the 99th Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede earlier this month, Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture officials want to make sure that the 100th Stampede is one for the record books.
A public meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 25, starting at 6 p.m. at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center to share ideas about the 100th Stampede celebration. People are encouraged
