Charles Borchert


Charles E. “Chuck” Borchert, 64, passed away the evening of June 27, 2020, with his family by his side. Chuck was born in Sidney, Mont., on Dec. 28, 1955, to parents Emil and Anna Borchert. He lived his life enjoying time with family and friends and loved going to garage sales. Anytime a person would see him, they could see the light in his life by the smile on his face and in his heart. He resided in Sidney, Mont., most of his life and lived in Wolf Point for a few years. Chuck had been having medical concerns with his heart the past several years, he is now at peace with his family members who passed before him. Chuck is survived by his sons, Zack Borchert and Shawn Borchert and their mother, Georgina Brunelle; his close nephew, Mike Anderson, Betty Anderson and family from Sidney, Mont.; his sister, Lois Wilson and family from San Tan Valley, Ariz.; his brothers, Bill Borchert and his family of Cheyenne, Wyo., and John Borchert and family of Missoula, Mont. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Anna Borchert; his sisters, Adaline Brenden, Fern Cornell and Mary Lou Anderson; and his brother, Willard Borchert. Yellowjackets Fall To Glasgow Reds In Legion Baseball Action Sunday


On Sunday, July 19, the Wolf Point Yellowjackets took on the Glasgow Reds in double- header action at Burkie Field. Glasgow took home two wins with game scores of 11-1 and 16-1. For the Yellowjackets, Terry Allmer scored the lone run in the first game, and Canyon Casterline scored the Jackets’ only run in the second game. Historical Society Honors Centennial Farm In Homestead, Outlook


Several area Montana farms recently were added to the state’s Centennial Farm and Ranch program. New inductees include the Benson Upland Farm near Outlook and the Danielson Farm near Homestead. These farms never left family ownership, still retain some or all of the original acreage and are in production by the owner or a lessee.
