Eric Peterson, activities director for Wolf Point High School, talked to the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture about upcoming tournaments in the community during a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Wolf Point will host the 21team Eastern B/C divisional wrestling meet on Feb. 2-3. The tournament will feature both male and female wrestlers. Action will begin at 9 a.m. each day with tickets

District Judge David J. Cybulski presided over several hearings in Wolf Point on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Weldon Drew changed his plea to guilty for the charge of criminal possession of fentanyl. He admitted that he was arrested on Sept. 21 and that law enforcement found a residue of fentanyl in a tin foil. Maximum penalties for the offense is five years in jail, a $5,000 fine or both.

As a guideline for the school board and the public, Wolf Point School District Superintendent David Perkins provided information about public comment and rights of participation during the school board meeting on Monday, Jan. 8.
