MonDak Cropping Seminar Includes Information On Grasshopper Control
The MonDak Cropping Seminar, held in Wolf Point, featured a presentation by Valley County Extension agent Shelley Mills regarding grasshopper management on Feb. 20.
The seminar, formerly called MonDak Pulse Day, was planned by the northeast group of Montana State University Extension agents. Event sponsors were Pro-Coop Ag Center and Ag Partners, LLC.

U.S. House Candidate Visits Wolf Point
U.S. House candidate Ric Holden made a stop in Wolf Point last week. Holden, a former state senator, is a rancher in Dawson County and lives between Terry and Glendive.

Families Attend Engagement Night At Southside
Southside Elementary School conducted its first family engagement night at the school on Thursday, Feb. 22.
The night, organized by administrative intern Patricia Payne, featured several games of Bingo being played.
“It’s to get people into the building,” Southside Principal Tara Thomas said of the goal of the activities. “We’re glad to have a good turnout.”

It was about noon one day when Evangelist Ken Gaub and his family pulled into Des Moines, Iowa. They were traveling evangelists singing Gospel music as he preached in citywide crusades across America. The family of five lived in a converted Silver Eagle Trailways bus.
