Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office responded to 49 calls from March 18-25. March 18 Deputies assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice with a report of an adult male threatening a female with a machete. Law enforcement searched the area and didn’t find the male. Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department with a report of a male and female arguing on Idaho Street.

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board voted to conduct a hearing regarding an ethical complaint against board member Stacey Summers. After much discussion, the board approved a resolution on Monday, March 23, by a 7-4 margin to conduct the hearing. During the meeting, board member Bryce Kirk said the board isn’t allowed to discuss details of the case because the discussion previously was done
