The amount of cannabis sales continues to grow in the state and in Roosevelt County.
Cannabis sales for the state increased to $27,481,817 for the month of May. The amount includes $24,198,109 for adult use sales and $3,283,708 for medical sales.
The last time that the state figures was above $27 million was in October of 2024 when it reached $27,728,562.

The Town of Bainville is planning many activities for area residents to enjoy on the Fourth of July.
Topping the list is a community parade starting at 10:30 a.m. Parade participants will line up at the Lutheran Church at 10 a.m.

The calls included the following: June 17
Deputies received a report from a resident regarding a stolen rifle. Deputies entered the gun as stolen in the national computer system.
Deputies assisted Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice at the Poplar Hospital for a report from a female of a sexual assault.
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 59 calls from June 16-23.
