A recount was conducted on Thursday, Oct. 30, regarding the Oct. 25 Fort Peck Tribal General Election. In the recount, Vernice Chopper still won the 12th TEB position with 478 votes. Incumbent Lawrence Hamilton received 463 votes. The original vote count was Chopper 477, Hamilton 460. Imogene Lilley earned an associate judge position with 665 votes.
