Froid/Lake Girls Beat Savage, 35-33

The Froid/Lake girls’ basketball team pulled off a 3533 victory during a defensive battle in Savage on Thursday, Jan. 15. The Red Hawks trailed by a five-point margin in the fourth quarter, but a three-pointer by Laytyn Davidson closed the gap to 2927 with five minutes remaining. Froid/Lake gained the lead on a three-point shot by Leah Murray at the 4:37 mark. A three-pointer by Avery Johnson

Bainville Boys Lose In Brockton

Brockton accounted for a dominating first quarter and defeated Bainville, 87-55, in District 2C boys’ basketball play in Brockton on Saturday, Jan. 17. Collaborative Effort Keeps State Mussel Free

Montana remains invasive mussel-free due to the hard work of FWP’s AIS team, AIS partners and the cooperation of watercraft owners stopping at AIS inspection stations. “In Montana, we are fortunate to have a great group of dedicated staff and partners who work together to prevent invasive species from being introduced to our waters,” said Aquatic Invasive Species bureau chief Tom Woolf.
