Roosevelt Medical Center in Culbertson has announced the addition of Dr. William Anderson, MD, to their medical staff team following the recent retirement of Dr. Don Helland. Helland retired from RMC after 11 years of service to the community. Dr. Anderson will serve as the medical director and will oversee the medical staff operations while performing medical quality oversight and review

RMC Says Good-Bye To Dr. Don Helland


After nearly 40-years in medicine, Dr. Don Helland, the family physician at Roosevelt Medical Center, is retiring. He has spent the last 11-years providing care for patients at RMC. A small staff farewell party took place on March 15, where he was presented with gifts and a traditional Star Quilt. On March 4, 2022, Stanley Hansen, age 79, of Paulden, Ariz., passed away. Born April 8, 1942, in Williston, N.D., to parents Florence and Otto Hansen and resided in McCabe, Mont. (Dain Valley). Andrew G. “Andy” Anderson Jr. of Glasgow died March 3, 2022, in Billings. He was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Medicine Lake to Andrew G. and Aashield (Rue) Anderson. The family moved to Glasgow shortly after his birth. He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1954.
