The Poplar School Board approved advertising for a curriculum director during its monthly meeting in May. Poplar superintendent Keith Erickson said it’s been a few years since Poplar had a curriculum director. “We have talked a few times before about a curriculum director,” Erickson said during the board meeting. “We will just see what we get and see what direction we want to go.”

The powwow season will start this weekend with the Wolf Point Community Organization’s celebration in Wolf Point on June 5-7. WPCO’s powwow has been held during Stampede weekend in the past.
