Halstead Will Be Clowning Around At 2021 Wild Horse Stampede
Dennis Halstead, rodeo clown/ barrelman, looks forward to another appearance at the 2021 Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede.
“I’ve been there three or four times,” Halstead said. “It’s a really unique rodeo. I enjoy the wild horse races. I love Montana rodeos.”
His schedule in Big Sky Country this year includes rodeos in Livingston, Helena and Sidney along with the Wold Point Stampede.

Recreation Programs Going Strong In Wolf Point
Summer time means recreation time for youngsters, and many of Wolf Point’s young people have been taking use of the activities that are available in Wolf Point.
“We’ve had a good turnout of kids,” Dan Horsmon, Wolf Point’s recreation director, said.

Fire Warden Talks Fireworks Safety
As the 4th of July approaches this Sunday, it is an important time to use common sense. Roosevelt County is currently under a burn ban, which means that burn permits will not be issued. This includes the use of burn barrels. Small backyard fires (in a fire ring) and barbecues are okay.

Community Input Requested For In-School Learning Safe Return Plan
The Wolf Point School board approved a Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan during its special meeting on Thursday, June 24.
The plan is available on the school’s website for comment from the public.
