Frazer’s Lady Bearcubs bucketed a win over the Lustre Christian Lady Lions in Frazer Saturday, Feb. 8. The Lustre boys prevailed over Frazer. Only five gymnasts from Eastern Montana Gymnastics competed at the Rocky Mountain Cup in Greats Falls Feb. 8, but the girls still managed to come away with several top awards. Nearly 150 Animals Tested Positive For CWD Thus Far During 2019/20 Sampling

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks submitted 6,977 samples for chronic wasting disease testing during the 2019 season, which ran from April 1, 2019, to Jan. 29, 2020. Of those samples, 142 tested positive for the fatal disease, including 86 whitetailed deer, 53 mule deer, two moose and one elk. These were Montana’s first detections in moose and wild elk. Annual MonDak Pulse Day To Be Held In Glasgow

Montana State University Extension and North Dakota State University Extension personnel have been collaborating for 20 years to bring an annual quality pulse production extension program to the producers of the MonDak region. The event alternates between being held in North Dakota and Montana. This year, MonDak Pulse Day will be held Feb. 19 at the Elks Club (309 2nd Ave S) in Glasgow.

Helen Pipe, 71, of Wolf Point died Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Northeast Montana Health Services - Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Chelsea Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
