Guilty Pleas Made During District Court Hearings

There were guilty pleas delivered during district court hearings held in Roosevelt County on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Payton Brockie Brown made a guilty plea for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, Xanax. Brown admitted that during a traffic stop on Sept. 10, law enforcement found Xanax in a pill bottle in her purse. District Judge Benjamin Fosland ordered a pre sentencing investigation

Some spooky class advisors were seen moving Halloween- themed items into the old C& B building at 21 2nd Street W. in downtown Culbertson during the weekend. Culbertson/Bainville Runners Fare Well At Home Meet

Culbertson/Bainville’s Anna Steppler finished in first place during the Culbertson Invitational held in chilly weather conditions on Saturday, Oct. 18. Steppler a freshman, earned the top honor with a time of 20:38.5. Richey/ Lambert’s senior Brynne Hill placed second at 20:42.3.
