The bride graduated from Royal High School in 2012 and the University of Wyoming in 2016. The bridegroom graduated from Culbertson High School in 2011 and joined the Army National Guard. Library To Celebrate Smokey’s Birthday

Did you know that Smokey the Bear’s birthday is Aug. 9 and that he will be 80 years old this year? The Forest Service is celebrating all year. All sorts of events are being planned including a social media campaign asking the public to sing Happy Birthday to Smokey with the hashtag #SingForSmokey. Some of the videos will be streamed across numerous social media platforms Aug. 9. Everyone

Jon Tester, chairman of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, has spoke alongside combat-injured veterans in Billings to urge Congressional action on his Major Richard Star Act — bipartisan legislation that would fix an injustice currently preventing combat-injured veterans with less than 20 years of military service from receiving their full military benefits.
