Tribal Elections Verified Following Recounts

The Tribal Executive Board will feature one change following recounts in Poplar’s district 1 and both districts in Wolf Point. Following the recount, Lawrence Hamilton will replace Dana Buckles. All other positions will remain the same. Scot T. Panasuk, 63, of Bainville died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, in Bainville. His funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. MST at the Bainville High School gymnasium. Pastor Lane Vannatta and Pastor Neil Knutson will co-officiate. Burial will be in the Bainville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Williston, N.D., and an hour prior to the service time at the gymnasium. A friends and family service will be held Friday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. CST in the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Williston.
