Anthony Red Cloud is the new head coach for Wolf Point’s football program. Red Cloud has served as an assistant coach for the Wolves during the past three seasons. “I’ve always been interested and wanted to stay with the program,” Red Cloud said of taking over as head coach. “It’s always been a career goal of mine.” His first practice guiding the Wolves came on Friday, Aug.

Summers Leads Cross-Country Program


Stacey Summers is the new head coach for Wolf Point’s cross-country, but she is anything but new to the program. After all, she served as the Wolves’ head coach in 2013. She began being an assistant coach in 2003. “It’s good to be back coaching again,” Summers said during the team’s first practice on Friday, Aug. 13. “We have a lot of state contenders coming back.” She

Block Management Program  Information Now Available

Block Management Program Information Now Available


Hunters now are able to obtain the 2021 Block Management Area program information. Hunters are encouraged to request their 2021 BMA Access Guide online and download or print individual BMA maps at fwp. mt.gov/BMA. By utilizing the FWP website fwp.mt.gov/BMA, hunters will have instant access to the Access Guide and upto- date BMA maps and rules for every individual BMA enrolled in the program.

Brown Coulee Mud Drags Has Successful First Run


The goal of two area men became a reality when the Brown Coulee Mud Drags took place just outside of Wolf Point on Saturday, July 31. Eldon Porras III and Cody Weinberger have been involved in mud races for several years and started to brainstorm how to hold such an event in the Wolf Point area. “Cody Weinberger and I are into this, and me and my wife have the land here,” Porras explained
