The Spring Hoopfest attracted more than 40 youth basketball teams to Wolf Point on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19. Champions in girls’ division included Shooting Stars of Wolf Point for third grade, the Lambert Lions for fourth grade, Burning Feathers of Bismarck, N.D., for fifth grade, Burning Feathers of Bismarck for sixth grade and the Circle Wildcats for seventh/eighth grades.

Wolf Point native Jewel Olson, a senior at Dickinson State University, has been selected the North Star Athletic Association’s Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.
