Area Cross Country Boys Race At Frazer Invitational


Runners from Wolf Point, Poplar, Brockton and Frazer turned out strong performances at the Frazer Invitational held on Thursday, Sept. 26. Poplar took fourth place and Brockton earned fifth in the team standings. Harlem topped the field with nine points. Harlem’s Ethan Walker finished in first place with a time of 16:41.05. Wolf Point’s Rebel Mays finished fourth with a time of 18:21.61.

Girls Earn Honors During Meet In Frazer


Girls’ athletes, including those from the area, excelled during the Frazer Invitational cross country meet on Thursday, Sept. 26. Area Flag Football Teams Play At State Tourney


The Wolf Point Wolves and Poplar Indians each competed at the state girls’ flag football tournament held in Bozeman on Thursday, Sept. 26, and Friday, Sept. 27. The Indians opened play with a 22-14 victory over Butte on Thursday. Poplar then lost to a strong Lockwood squad, 27-14, in the quarter-final round on Friday. The Indians gained an 8-6 lead in the game but trailed 15-8 at the half.
