Several area wrestlers were ranked in the latest Class B state wrestling poll. Mason Garfield of Wolf Point ranks third at 205 pounds. The Poplar wrestlers won the great majority of their matches during a mixer held in Forsyth on Saturday, Jan. 22. Highlights included Kameron Reum with a 3-0 record and Jacob Berger going 2-0 for the day. Posting 1-0 marks were Jazmin Gorder, Angelina Escarcega, Jase Frederick and Precious Keiser. Gage Berg had a record of 3-1 during the mixer.

Frazer’s girls’ basketball squad fell against Scobey, 5118, on Friday, Jan. 21. The Bearcubs were only behind by a 12-11 margin after the first quarter of action. The Lustre Christian Lions swept basketball games against Dodson on Saturday, Jan. 15. Lustre’s boys posted an 8244 victory over the Coyotes.
