Foundation Holds Golf Tournament
The Northeast Montana Health Services Charitable Foundation held its 26th annual golf tournament at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Club on Saturday, June 24. The tournament attracted 20 four-person teams.
“There’s all sorts of fun going on,” Brandi Wilkinson, executive director, said during the tournament. “There are a lot of volunteers. It’s a great tournament.”

Nike N7 Experience Attracts Young Golfers To Wolf Point Course
The Wolf Point Airport Golf Course was packed with young golfers to cap the Fort Peck Tribal Youth Summit on Saturday, June 17.
With equipment from Nike N7 transported from Oregon for the event, youngsters were having the time of their lives in five separate age groups at the Nike N7 Junior Golf Experience.

Wolf Point’s Softball Squad Keeps Battling Against Plentywood
Wolf Point’s major softball team almost was able to post a great comeback victory, but the Yellow Jackets lost at home by a 13-11 final against Plentywood on Tuesday, June 13.
Wolf Point trailed by a 13-3 margin entering the bottom of the third inning, but the Yellow Jackets accounted for five runs in the frame. A single by Marley Moran knocked in two runners to begin Wolf Point’s comeback.
Yellow Jackets Drop Contests Against Froid
The Froid Bulls swept a double-header against a short-handed Wolf Point squad during American Legion baseball action in Wolf Point on Saturday, June 17.
The Bulls took the first five-inning game by an 8-2 final.
Froid broke away from a 2-0 lead with four more runs in the top of the sixth for a 6-0 advantage.
