Wolves Come Up Short At District Tournament


The Wolf Point Wolves had their chances but lost to Harlem in four sets during firstround action at the District 2B volleyball tournament in Wolf Point on Thursday, Oct. 30. The Wolves fell short by a 25-17, 23-25, 24-26, 12-25, final. In the first set, the Wolves led by a 16-12 margin and increased the gap on a kill by Lauren Rodenberg and an ace by Cali Gorder. Wolves Fall Against Glasgow Squad


The volleyball season for the Wolf Point Wolves came to a close as the Wolves lost to Glasgow in loser-out play at the District 2B tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, Oct. 31. Glasgow took a 25-22, 2516, 20-25, 25-12 victory. The Wolves battled back after trailing early in the first set as kills by Anna Matejovsky closed the gap to 18-16. Indians Win Tournament Match


The Poplar Indians earned a victory at the district volleyball tournament by edging Plentywood, 26-24, 23-25, 2514, 20-25, 15-11, on Friday, Oct. 31. The Indians trailed by a 2421 margin in the first set until aces by Jayda Falcon led Poplar to a 25-24 advantage. Poplar scored the final point on a kill by Lilliana O’Neal. The Poplar Indians struggled early and lost against Glasgow in first-round play at the District 2B volleyball tournament in Wolf Point on Thursday, Oct. 30.
