Wolf Point’s football standout Da’Shaun Jackson has been selected to play in the 2025 Native All-American game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday, Dec. 14. The Lustre Lions earned fourth place at the District 3C volleyball tournament held in Saco during the weekend. Lustre opened tournament action with a 25-19, 25-15, 2513, victory over Nashua. The Lions then fell to defending state champion Circle by an 8-25, 12-25, 13-25, final. Lustre stayed alive by beating Frazer 25-6, 25-8, 25-9. The Lions were eliminated by Scobey, 10-25, 12-25,

The Wolf Point Elks Lodge is holding its annual Hoop Shoot at the Wolf Point High School gym on Sunday, Nov. 9, starting at 2 p.m. Registration for the boys’ and girls’ age groups will begin at 1:30 that day. Age divisions are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. Age groups are based on the age that the student will be on April 1, 2026. Hoop Shoot is free to all participants and provides youth an opportunity

The Northern B divisional volleyball tournament is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, through Saturday, Nov. 8, at Wolf Point High School. First-round matches on Thursday feature Malta meeting Shelby at 10 a.m., Harlem playing Chinook at 11:45 a.m., Choteau fcing Glasgow at 1:30 p.m. and Fairview taking on Fairfield at 3:15 p.m. The top two teams advance to the state tournament.

Poplar’s boys placed fourth in the team standings at the Class B state cross country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 25. The Indians finished with 167 points. The top three teams were state champion Harlem with 53 points, Ennis with 126 and Manhattan with 139 points. Wolf Point was 20th with 512 points. John Jermyn of Plains captured the individual title with a time of 16:02.41.
