Golf Teams Earn Honors At Wolf Point’s Bestball Tournament

Wolf Point Airport Golf Course conducted the twoman bestball course improvement tournament during the weekend.

On day one of the tournament for first flight, the teams of Troy Halverson/ Justin Halverson and Nate Packineau/Bryan Myers tied for first place with scores of 62.

Jake Hughes and Blaine Myrick earned third place with a 63.

Tying for fourth with 64s were Easton Copenhaver/ Brock Schriver, Marques WhiteHorse/Neil Gelinas and Brad Moran/Kyle Holum.

On day two, the team of Jeremiah Whitright and Gary Fisher earned first with a 61.

Lee Loendorf and Jared Fyfe placed second with a 63. T. Halverson and J. Halverson took third with a 65. Dana Matejovsky and Joey Matejovsky took fourth with a 67.

Overall, the teams of T. Halverson/J. Halverson and Whitright/Fisher tied for first with 127s. Loendorf/Fyfe placed third with a 130.

Tying for fourth with 132s were Hughes/Myrick, Copenhaver/Schriver and Whitehorse/Gelinas.

In second flight, Jason Hamilton and Ty Nelson earned first on the first day with a 61. Cubby Damon and Howard Azure placed second with a 64. Mike Fox and Beau Garfield took third with a 65.

Tying for fourth with 66s were Brock Copenhaver/Tim Kulbeck and Jestin Dupree/ Tyler Strahan.

For day two, Kameron Reum and Blake Lambert claimed first with a 63. Tying for second with 65s were Freedom Crawford/Dan McKee and Verdell Thunderhorse/ Weston Smith. Overall, tying for first place with 132s were Hamilton/ Nelson and Fox/Garfield.

Tying for third with 133s were Crawford/McKee and Thunderhouse/Smith. Tying for fifth with 134s were Copenhaver/Kulbeck and Reum/Lambert.
