Indians Lose Game Against Harlem
Poplar’s boys’ basketball season came to an end when the Indians lost to Harlem, 72-55, in loser-out play at the District 2B tournament in Sidney on Friday, Feb. 26.
The Indians fell behind 20-9 in the first quarter. Joe Bear scored five of Poplar’s points in the opening period.
Harlem led by as many as 20 points in the second quarter, but Poplar battled back for a 35-25 half-time score.
