Lustre Christian outscored Bainville, 57-47, during non-conference boysâ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 28.
After Bainville led by a 13-9 margin at the end of the first quarter, Lustre gained a 30-18 half-time advantage. Lustreâs Kolden Hoversland scored eight points in the second quarter.
The Lions held a 44-34 lead after three quarters of play.

Andrew Williamson of Wolf Point won the boysâ ages 10-11 Elks district Hoop Shoot free throw competition in Glendive held on Saturday, Jan. 22. He was previously the boysâ 10-11 champion at the Wolf Point Hoop Shoot in November 2021. He will compete at the Montana State Hoop Shoot competition in Livingston on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-0 advantage in the first quarter. Elsie Wilson scored 12 of Bainvilleâs points in the quarter.
Bainville held a 42-7 halftime advantage.
Top scorers for Bainville were Wilson with 16 and Hailey Berwick with 10 points.

Wolf Point High School senior Shastin Damon likes being involved with the schoolâs successful sports programs.
In fact, the two-sport athlete plans to add even another sport this spring.
âIt will be my first year and I guess my last year,â Damon laughed about his upcoming track career.
He plans to compete in weight events and maybe the 100-meter dash.
