A Culbertson man is facing a district court charge after alleged incidents in Eastern Montana during January 2020. Trevor Levi Crain has been charged with unlawful possession or shipping or transportation of a game animal. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Wednesday, Nov. 10. If convicted of the charge, maximum penalties are five years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both.

Antonio Hernandez is facing the charge of use or possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture. He is scheduled to make his initial appearance in district court in Wolf Point on Dec. 15. Dylan Cromwell, 23, of Scobey, was killed in a highway accident near Plainfield, Ind., Oct. 24. The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. EST on Interstate 70 in Hendricks County. A preliminary investigation suggests that a semi was traveling eastbound when it lost control in a construction zone, jackknifing and crashing through a concrete barrier wall before running head on into Cromwell’s vehicle.

The Wolf Point City Council held its regular meeting Monday, Oct. 18. City Clerk Marlene Malhum said she had the city’s boiler inspected, as it is 28 years old, leaking and needs to be replaced.
