High Prairie Vet Receives First Dollar
Longtime Pound Puppies vet Dr. Heather Grimm and her staff at High Prairie Veterinary Services received a First Dollar certificate from Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture director Jeff Presser during a short ceremony June 5.
Grimm told the Northern Plains Independent that she practiced in the area for years before beginning a search for a permanent location.

Students Graduate From Wolf Point
The Wolf Point High School’s commencement program featured 46 graduates looking ahead to their future on Sunday, May 28.
Valedictorian Aaron Boysun said that he wasn’t looking forward to graduation and leaving the comforts of high school.
“Time goes by a touch too fast,” he noted. It was, however, time to move on to the next chapter in their lives.

Dschaak Asks Commissioners To Consider MOU Proposal
Wolf Point Mayor Chris Dschaak visited with Roosevelt County commissioners last week regarding the issue of dilapidated buildings and lots in Wolf Point.
Dschaak has been having positive meetings with deputy couynty attorney Thomas Bleicher about developing a memoriam of understanding for cities and the county to work together on building challenges.
