Friesen’s Floral and Greenhouse was in the business of bringing cheer to several area residents last week. On Wednesday, Oct. 18, owners Mary Buckles and Cathryn Wylie conducted a drawing of 15 names based on individuals who came to the flower shop and signed up for a chance to win. New Owner At Jitter’z Expresso


Wolf Point native Courtney Berglee is the new owner of Jitter’z Espresso located on Highway 2 in Wolf Point. Her first day as the popular coffee shop’s new owner was Sept. 1. “It’s been going really well,” Berglee said. “It’s really busy.” She has made some changes to the outside decorations of the business, but the menu has remained the same. Business hours are 7 a.m.

The LCHS Foundation dinner was held Oct. 5. That evening, Lustre had a hard frost. The junior high volleyball team took first at its District 3C tournament, Sept. 30 in Hindsdale, hosted by North Country. Frontier defeated North Country, LGS defeated Nashua in semi-final round. Then, LGS defeated Frontier. The EMB held its harvest festival on Oct. 8 with Elwyn and Linda Goossen of Harvest
