Chamber Planning To Have Concert For Stampede

After some discussion, board members of the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce agreed to pursue having a band concert on Saturday night of the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede. JD Stensland, organizer of the ranch rodeo, suggests adding a $5 per Stampede ticket for Saturday night’s performance and that amount could help cover some of the concert costs. Southside Elementary School officials urge parents to remember to take part in the “child find” project and the importance of being enrolled in pre-kindergarten. The child find screenings are scheduled for April 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Jury Trial Set In April For Nygaard, County Case

A jury trial has been scheduled for April 20 in Great Falls for the case involving Cheryl Nygaard vs. Centennial Colon and Roosevelt County. Cheryl Nygaard, representative for the estate of the late Clay Nygaard, filed a lawsuit regarding Clay Nygaard’s death in a vehicle crash that occurred on June 19, 2024. The case was filed in U.S. District Court in Great Falls on Oct. 17, 2024.

March 3 Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department and the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice for a report of a fight at Dad’s Bar between two females. One adult female said she was assaulted by the other. The suspect had run out the back door. March 4 Deputies responded to the Buckhorn Bar
