Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks recently approved nearly $82,000 in funding for three projects to enhance angling opportunities at local ponds. The hope of returning the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame to Wolf Point received a major setback last week. House Bill 402 was tabled by the state administration committee by a 19-0 vote. House District 31 Rep. Frank Smith, D-Poplar, introduced the bill to return the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame to Wolf Point. “It’s tourism, and the license plates would bring $1,500 to $2,000 in a month,”
