Retiring Teacher Honored In Frazer
Frazer residents saluted a long-time teacher for his commitment to the local school system on Saturday, May 24.
Dan Crotty got a late start in teaching, but his 23 years teaching math at the school were definitely appreciated.
Crotty explained that he began teaching at the age of 40 after a previous career as an engineer. “I got tired of engineering kind of,” he explained.

Poplar High School Honors Graduates
Poplar High School recognized the hard work of its 2025 with its commencement exercises on Sunday, May 18.
Rebecca Gorder was valedictorian and Angelina Escarcega was salutatorian for the class.
Gorder thanked the school’s teachers and staff for making a difference in her life. She said she enjoyed all four years with her classmates and wishes them the best of good luck. Gorder added
Trustees Take Oaths In Wolf Point

Wolf Point School Board trustees were sworn into office for new terms during the meeting on Monday, May 12.
Taking the oath of office were Liara Braaten for district 1, Roxanne Gourneau for district 2, Michael Holen for district 3 and Keith Higgins for the at-large position.
Gourneau was voted as the board’s chair and Higgins was voted as the board’s vice chair.
