A horsemanship clinic is planned in Frazer during the Red Bottom Celebration coming up this weekend. The free Creator’s Game clinic is set for June 13 at the pow-wow grounds in Frazer along U.S. Highway 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers will teach horsemanship education, safety and basic riding skills. The event is by hosted by Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center, Fort Peck Community

Northside Elementary School wrapped up its 20232024 with fun activities on Thursday, May 30. The event featured a petting zoo sponsored by Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center. The Fort Peck Community College’s Chanku Program provided volunteers and some of the games for the students to enjoy. The Fort Peck Tribes Health Promotion Disease Prevention program provided hot dogs and water.

ROTC Cadet Major Jennifer Boyd and Cadet SSG. David E. Boyd III took first place at ROTC national drill and ceremonies held in Denver, Colo. They are the great-grandchildren of PFC Loetta and CPL Lewis A. Boyd, grandchildren of SSG David E. Boyd Sr. and children of CPT David E. Boyd Jr.
