The Catholic Church Parish Center in Poplar is hosting Sunday with Santa Dec. 15 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The festive holiday event will include photos with Santa, hayrides and caroling, cookies and juice, coloring and crafts and holiday face painting. The Montana Farm Bureau Federation recently elected officers during its 105th annual convention in Billings. The Montana Farm Bureau is the state’s largest general grassroots agricultural organization with 19,000 members. Cyndi Johnson, a small grains farmer from Conrad, was re-elected as president. Casey Mott, a cattle rancher from Custer, takes over as vice president, succeeding Gary Heibertshausen

Bigger Sky Kids has received a $2,500 Experience Grant from the Montana Arts Council. It will cover the cost of multiple subscriptions to Adobe’s Creative Cloud and a subscription to Ali Kay’s Studio. Volunteer Diane Taylor, a special education teacher at Wolf Point High School, will introduce students to Fresco, one of more than 20 applications that make up the Creative Cloud. Fresco
