The Wolf Point School District is inviting the community and students to a program of Empowerment and Comedy starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Wolf Point High School auditorium.
The program will feature the talents of Chris “Shoof” Scheufele. There is no admission charge.

Siera Barrera and Javier Loi are the proud parents of Wolf Point’s 2022 New Year’s baby. Luca Estavon Loi was born at Trinity Hospital on Jan. 2 at 9:30 p.m., weighing five pounds and 14 ounces and was 18 inches long. This is the first child for the couple who resides in Wolf Point.

After my first full year covering the Wolf Point area, I wish to commend the area residents who strive to make this community a great place to live.
In no particular order, here is a list of 10 stories that I covered that made me grateful for the people’s contributions. They are making Wolf Point proud.

The Wolf Point JOM committee discussed various ways to support students during its meeting on Monday, Jan. 3.
Committee members are excited about taking part in the career fair at Wolf Point High School from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 2. The event will feature six Native American presenters including tribal chairman Floyd Azure. JOM members are looking into having tribal foods as part as a supplement

Matthew Portra graduated from the Montana Youth Challenge Academy on Dec. 19, 2021.
He also earned Iron and Elite Cadet recognition.
The Montana Youth Challenge Academy is a residential academic-intervention program on the campus of the University of Montana-Western for 16- to 18-yearold students who are at risk of being high school dropouts. Designed by the National Guard Bureau and
