Improvements Being Made At Prairie Cinema
Prairie Cinema has been busy updating both auditoriums to make the movie going experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
COVID delayed this project for several years.
Updates are occurring one auditorium at a time. Cinema 2 should be open this Friday, April 29, while Cinema 1 is scheduled to reopen Friday, May 6.
Improvements include replacing seats with additional legroom, cupholders to the seats, refinishing of the floor, installing acoustical carpet on the walls and replacing aisle lighting. A sound technician has visited to re-balance and re-tune the sound systems.
The public is encouraged to let theatre management Steve and Deb Greenwood know if there’s a certain film that you would like to see play at the Prairie Cinema. Efforts will be made to accommodate public requests, but contracts governing the length of time a film must be kept at the theater must be considered.
Gary and Becky Dupuis, managers of Polson Theaters, completed the upgrades for the Wolf Point community. Wolf Point High School’s industrial arts class helped do some of the heavy lifting.
