Roosevelt County Sheri_’s Report The Roosevelt County Sheri #8217;s O_ce responded to 193 calls from April 27-May 4. The calls included: April 27 Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash in Wolf Point involving a young man. The Wolf Point ambulance and the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice also responded. Deputies provided medical care until the ambulance arrived.

Prisoners housed in the Roosevelt County Detention Center over the past week included: T’shauna Azure, 27, Wolf Point, criminal endangerment. Chad Bachmann, 46, Red Lodge, hold for other agency. Frank Baker, 44, Wolf Point, driving with a suspended or revoked license. Dimitri Bruce, 32, Wolf Point, hold for Fort Peck Tribes. Karsen Bushman, 40, Wolf Point, hold for other agency.

As spring weather becomes nicer, area drivers are reminded to watch out for more activity on local streets by youngsters. Law enforcement stresses that drivers should be aware of children riding bikes, especially near the swimming pool and athletic parks. The Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice reports that at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, there was a call of a deceased individual. Authorities discovered the body of Gene Alfred Youngman, 50, who had been considered missing for the last 10 days. Youngman’s immediate family has been notified. FPTDLJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are conducting an investigation.

Wolf Point native Karsen Wayne Bushman was arrested last week by the Roosevelt County Sheri #8217;s O_ce on authority of an extradition warrant from Wyoming. Bushman is wanted on charges in Wyoming including three counts of first degree sexual abuse of a minor. He is being held at the Fort Peck Tribes detention center until extradition proceedings are conducted.

The Montana Highway Patrol has released a report regarding a fatality that occurred in Roosevelt County on Sunday April 26. Sean Forrest, an 18-year-old male from Poplar, was the fatality victim. The idea of having an allclass reunion came when the Class of 1971 was planning its 50th reunion in 2021.
