Wolf Point and Poplar’s track athletes each performed well at the Scobey and Glasgow indoor meet held in Williston, N.D., on Thursday, April 2. Lustre’s boys took third place and Lustre’s girls placed 12th at the indoor track meet hosted by Scobey and Glasgow in Williston, N.D., on Thursday, April 2. In the boys’ division, the Lions earned third with 48 points. The top two teams were Glasgow with 67 and Plentywood with 61 points. Teams Win Titles During Hoopfest

The Spring Hoopfest attracted 52 youth basketball teams to Wolf Point on Friday and Saturday. Winning titles in the girls’ division at the tournament included Glas-cobey Swish for the third grade, Savage for fourth grade, Burning Feathers 6 of Bismarck, N.D., for fifth/sixth grade and Net Jinjas of Poplar for seventh/eight grade.
