The Wolf Point Lions Club and the Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited have announced the winners of their annual Christmas lighting contest in Wolf Point.
Eight winners received Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture shopping dollars. Awards included $125 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for six honorable mention selections.

A Wolf Point man accused of murdering a man by arson on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation was arraigned Tuesday, Dec. 23, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.
Anthony David Flynn, 35, pleaded not guilty to an indictment charging him with felony murder and arson. If convicted of the most serious charge contained in the indictment, Flynn faces mandatory life imprisonment, a $250,000 fine and five years

The Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice was the primary law enforcement at the scene. Responding to the fire were the Poplar Volunteer Fire Department and Poplar ambulance service.
