Kathleen Ann Lambert, 84, died Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Brunswick Cove Nursing Home in Winnabow, N.C. She was born April 16, 1941, to Thomas Corbett and Virginia Italia Carlotto and was raised with her sister Mary Beth in Crystal Falls, Mich. She lived a life focused on two passions, her children and students. She taught mathematics for over 30 years in Culbertson and Brockton, touching hundreds of young lives. She was never happier or more at home than in front of a classroom where she made the impossible seem easy. Her brilliant mind mixed with a sharp wit and easy laugh made her a favorite for so many. Perhaps no one felt the depth of her love and fierce loyalty more than her three sons. She was their greatest champion and gave them everything she had. Naomi J. Montclair, 79, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Billings Clinic in Billings. She was born Aug. 21, 1946, in Riverside to Effie Cloud. She grew up in Riverside and Brockton, where she attended school. She received her GED in later years. She worked for A& S and Spotted Bull where she was a tech. During her many years there, she met and influenced many troubled kids. She earned the title “Grandma” by changing their lives in a positive way while in treatment. No matter where she went, she was greeted by “Grandma Naomi.” She enjoyed gambling, bingo, watching the Lakers on TV or out with her grandchildren either at a powwow or cheering them on at their sports events. She was known for her “tell it like it is” attitude. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister, Nita. She is survived by her sisters, Juanita and Dorsey Young; sons, Conrad and Curtis Sr.; daughters, Luella and Melissa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
