Naomi Montclair

Naomi J. Montclair, 79, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Billings Clinic in Billings.

She was born Aug. 21, 1946, in Riverside to Effie Cloud. She grew up in Riverside and Brockton, where she attended school. She received her GED in later years.

She worked for A& S and Spotted Bull where she was a tech. During her many years there, she met and influenced many troubled kids. She earned the title “Grandma” by changing their lives in a positive way while in treatment. No matter where she went, she was greeted by “Grandma Naomi.”

She enjoyed gambling, bingo, watching the Lakers on TV or out with her grandchildren either at a powwow or cheering them on at their sports events. She was known for her “tell it like it is” attitude. She also enjoyed spending time with her sister, Nita.

She is survived by her sisters, Juanita and Dorsey Young; sons, Conrad and Curtis Sr.; daughters, Luella and Melissa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
