Area Athletes Take Part In Blount Run
A good turnout participated in the sixth annual Harold “Dean” Blount memorial run in Frazer on Saturday morning.
The field included five runners for the 10K event, eight participants in the 5K run and more than 35 individuals in the one mile run/walk.
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers was the winner in the 10K with a time of 35:09.
Sierra Summers ran the 10K course in 40:06. She was the women’s winner and had the second fastest overall time.
Kholby Spotted Wolf placed third at 46:06 and Wes Headdress took fourth at 52:45. Kellie Emerson was fifth in the 10K.
Coleman Hilkemann was the winner in the 5K with a time of 20:58. Right behind was Kolter Berglee placing second at 20:59. Andrew Williamson earned third with a time of 21:12.
The top female runners in the 5K were Kheyerah Bilger and Ryder Bilger.
Mike Hilkemann placed sixth overall in the 5K. Also in the top 10 were Stacey Summers, Laure Ricker and Shoni Blount.
