Library Plans Exhibition, Summer Reading Program

The Roosevelt County Library in Wolf Point will host several fun activities to kick off the summer.

An art exhibition is planned for May 30, with a reception to honor the local artists from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The painting instruction and artwork creation was made possible through the Friends of the Roosevelt County Library.

Officials are urging youngsters to “Unearth A Story,” on June 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 17. The summer reading program is for students ages 6-12 from 1 to 3 p.m. for each of the days.

A kickoff party for the summer reading program is planned from 1-3 p.m. on June 1. The party will feature Dr. Nathan Carroll, Carter County Museum’s curator of paleontology and the founder of the annual Dino Shindig event.
