Valerie Gilbertson, 70, of Flaxville died the morning of Oct. 9, 2025, at Daniels Memorial Hospital in Scobey. She was born in Wolf Point to Elvern and Eva Gilbertson on March 10, 1955. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked for many years at both Daniels Memorial and Sheridan Memorial hospitals, touching countless lives through her compassion and reliability. Later, she brought that same dedication to her work at the Flaxville Pro Coop Station, where she remained until her well-earned retirement. Beyond her work, she was a proud member of the dart league, poker league and the 750 Club. As secretary for both the dart league and the 750 Club, she kept the records straight and the schedules running. In poker league, she found joy in both the cards and the company. Even though she had stepped back from the leagues in recent years, she always cherished the friendships, laughter and memories made there.

Beverly Ann Snellman Christensen, 87, died at her home in Reserve on Oct. 6, 2025. She was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Plentywood Hospital to Herbert J. Snellman of Medicine Lake and Alice A. Richwine of Froid. She graduated from Medicine Lake High School in 1956. She attended airline school at Minneapolis, Minn. In 1957, she married Kenneth H. Christensen of Westby. They had two boys, Jerald K. of Washington and David A. of Antelope. She enjoyed piloting their airplane, dogs and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sons; two grandchildren;
