The Red Hawks held a 2520 lead entering the fourth quarter, but the visiting Lions tallied the first four points of the period on baskets by Hannah Brown and Samantha Neufeld. Froid/Lake responded with two free throws by Isabelle Nordwick and a free toss by Joelle Davidson for a 28-24 advantage.

The Culbertson Cowgirls lost a 34-33 heartbreaker at Savage on Friday, Dec. 19. Culbertson gained a 1210 lead in the first half. The Cowgirls increased their advantage to 22-18 in the third quarter. The Red Hawks were down by just a 9-7 margin after the first quarter, but the Fusion ran off 22 points in the second period for a 31-12 halftime advantage.
