Jalen Chapman of Trenton, N.D., has been selected North Dakota’s Senior of the Year for six-man football. He is the son of Arlen (formerly of Poplar) and Jami Chapman. Grandmother is Nancy Garfield of Wolf Point. Jalen was also voted All-State and All-Conference. Trenton won the state title last year and placed second this season. (Photo submitted)

The Culbertson/Bainville/ Froid/Lake speech and drama team traveled to Roundup on Saturday, Nov. 8. “It was a tough meet, but the competitors fared well, and progress was seen by all,” coach Jeri Gustafson said. County 4-H Holds Achievement Day


The 2025 Roosevelt County 4-H Achievement Day was held Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Greet The Dawn building on the Fort Peck Community College campus in Poplar. The Fort Peck 4-H Club hosted the event, welcoming over 60 4-H members, parents and guests. A variety of snacks were served and the program ended with some fun games like “Sweep the Teepee” and a rowdy set of “Musical Chairs”. Maia
