Michael Anthony Lindsay, 14, of Wolf Point died Aug. 15, 2025. He was born June 24, 2011, in Wolf Point to Kristal Brown and Quinton Lindsay. He loved spending time with his big brother, Anthony, and loved to hang out with friends. He had a special bond with his siblings. He often terrorized his little sister, Loraina, and his nephew, Krys. He was known for his light-hearted teasing and always agreed with Cherish's bs. His big sister Joshlynn had her hands full with his energetic spirit, which kept her on her toes. He found joy in trolling on Roblox and playing Strongest Battle Grounds with his siblings. He recently began working out with Anthony. He also had an interest in learning about cars and enjoyed watching his favorite TV show, The Walking Dead. He is survived his sisters, Joshlynn Lindsay, Cherish Lindsay and Loraina Lindsay of Wolf Point and Avery (Kasside) Fox of Arizona; brother, Anthony Lindsay; father, Quinton Lindsay; and his grandmother, Clara Bell Welch. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.

Christopher Tyson Shields, 37, died Aug. 31, 2025, at the Billings Clinic in Billings. He was born on May 23, 1988, in Poplar to Lester Shields and Liola Sue Buck Elk. He earned his high school diploma from Culbertson High School. He spent much of his life in Montana, finding a sense of home in Fort Kipp after living briefly with his sister in Virginia and in Bismarck, N.D. He had a varied career, working for organizations such as the Fort Peck Housing Authority, Northern Improvement in Bismarck, N.D., Sidney Sugars in Sidney and the Theodore Roosevelt Foundation in Medora, N.D. He always sought out work, taking pride in being busy and contributing wherever he could. He grew up with many warm memories from his childhood. He would often reminisce about the fun times he had with his brother, teasing their sister Christy until she got mad and the firework wars at the old rodeo grounds in Fort Kipp. Among his treasured memories was the bet he made with his fiancé during high school in algebra class. An individual known for his beautiful soul, he was always eager to help others without expecting anything in return. Even during tough days, he had a way of putting a smile on everyone’s face. He loved to stay active, whether it was playing basketball or watching the stars. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, joking, watching TikToks and playing dice games. He enjoyed listening to music and drawing. He was a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, especially the late Kobe Bryant. He is survived by his sons, Bryson Michael Shields and Jacoby Dewayne Shields; father, Lester Wayne Shields; sister, Christy Scott; grandparents, Darlene Left Hand, Esther Hapa, Violet Buck Elk, Ernestine Ireland and Louis (Leanne) Buck Elk; and special friend, Ashten Youpee. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Shields. His funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 12, at the James Black Dog Center in Fort Kipp. Interment followed at Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
