Speech, Drama Compete In Roundup

The Culbertson/Bainville/ Froid/Lake speech and drama team traveled to Roundup on Saturday, Nov. 8.

“It was a tough meet, but the competitors fared well, and progress was seen by all,” coach Jeri Gustafson said.

Results were as follows: Harper Anderson, first place, dramatic solo; Harrison Green, second place, impromptu speaking; Colt’n Rees, second place, memorized public address; Vala Gregor, third place, memorized public address; Emma Henry, third place, dramatic solo; Josie Simonsen, fourth place, memorized public address; Harper Struna, sixth place, program oral interpretation of literature; Scarlet Mahoney, eighth place, spontaneous oral interpretation, and Trinity Gregor, seventh place, humorous solo.

The team took second place in Class C speech sweeps and Class C drama sweeps.
