Lustre Takes Fourth In Lambert


Lustre’s boys accounted for 57 points to earn fourth place at the Richey/Lambert Invitational track meet in Lambert on Thursday, April 10. Johnslee Pierre led Lustre’s performances by taking first place in the 200-meter dash at 23.97 seconds and first in the 400 at 52.78 seconds. Prestyn Klatt put together a solid meet with a first in the 1600 at 4:47.57 and a second in the 800 at 2:20.79.

Athletes Place During Meet In Glasgow


Track athletes from Wolf Point and Poplar each enjoyed success at a 12-team track meet held in Glasgow on Monday, April 7. The Wolves took fifth in the girls’ team standings with 47 points and eighth in the boys’ standings with 24 points. Sean Hamilton, a junior, led Wolf Point’s boys with a first in the javelin (149-2), a second in the discus (128-11) and a third in the shot put (41-7).

Lions, Bearcubs Score At Glasgow Track Meet


The Lustre Lions finished with 69 points in the boys’ division to place second at a 12team track meet in Glasgow on Monday, April 7. Glasgow’s boys topped the standings with 158 points. Malta took third for 65 points. Johnslee Pierre was a double winner for the Lions. Pierre finished first in the 200 at 23.87 seconds and first in the 400 at 54.26 seconds. Cowboys Take Third Place At Richey/Lambert Track Meet


The Culbertson Cowboys accounted for 71 points to win third-place honors at the Richey/Lambert Invitational track meet on Thursday, April 10. The top two boys’ team at the 16-team meet were Plentywood with 107 and Fairview with 94 points. Topping the girls’ standings were Circle with 87, Scobey with 76 and Turner with 58 points. Culbertson tallied two points in the girls’ division.
