Track Project Work Starts In Wolf Point

The new track project at Wolf Point High School by Tarkett Sports started the last week of July. School officials are optimistic about the $1.495 million project will be done by the end of this fall. “It is scheduled for the end of October,” Wolf Point Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perkins said. “We hope it is before that.” The school board accepted a bid of $1.495 million

County Ranks Near Top In State For Oil Production

Based on the first quarter of 2025, Roosevelt County ranks fourth in the state as far as the county receiving funds from oil revenue. Roosevelt County’s government received $657,800.00 for the quarter. The top three counties were Richland at $3,907,088, Fallon at $788,979 and Powder River at $698,079. Sheridan County is fifth at $166,995.83. Roosevelt County’s collections were $3,688,043.16.
