Pippenger Plays Volleyball In Hawaii

Recent Bainville High School graduate Miah Pippenger had the opportunity to play at a volleyball tournament held in Hawaii this summer.

Pippenger and her teammates placed second in the NoKaOi volleyball tournament. She explained her teammates included girls from various states including Kansas and Texas.

“We played very well as a team together since we just met on the trip,” Pippenger said.

She said she enjoyed competing at the playing level of the tournament.

Another highlight of the trip was going fishing with her mother, Billie. “We caught some pretty cool little fish,” Miah said. She added that the beach was really pretty.

She plans to take online classes with Williston State College this fall.
