Brockton Falls In Savage

 

The Brockton Warriors dropped two close games during league basketball action in Savage on Friday, Jan. 24.

In the boys’ contest, Savage struck for 27 points in the fourth quarter for a comeback 63-58 victory.

Brockton led 28-24 at the half and 47-36 at the end of the third quarter.

Jarid Fasthorse Jr. scored 15 points and Colter Nygard had 14 for Brockton.

Also scoring were Miles Boxer Jr. with nine, Josh Firemoon with eight, Kameron Rattling Thunder with six, Quannah First That Walks with four and Weston Lambert with two.

Leading Savage were Sayer Erickson with 16 and Hunter Sanders with 15 points.

Savage’s girls held off Brockton by a 31-29 margin.

After an 18-9 Savage lead at the half, Brockton cut the gap to 26-19 in the third quarter.

Brockton outscored Savage by a 10-5 margin in the final period.

Savage’s top scorers were Cambry Conradsen with 11 and KD Lyons with nine points.
