Culbertson Town Council Approves Lot Split, Audit Report

The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting Nov. 12. An update on the bathhouse project was provided. The council is expected to have a bid package by Friday. The council discussed $9,500 from Account 101050 for use on the bathhouse project. A special meeting is expected. Ross Stalcup delivered the 202122 audit report. Wolf Point students earned first place in Class B drama sweeps during the speech and drama meet in Conrad on Saturday, Nov. 16. Cole Boysun and Ellianna Ryan came away with top honors in humorous theater. Nora Hansen was the winner in mime. Maya Deserly placed fifth in mime. Thomas Moudree and William Schwartzrock took second in dramatic theater. Chase Adams earned third in humorous solo.

Wilson, Robertus Voted All-State For Football

Bainville’s Rowan Wilson and Trevor Robertus were each voted All-State for sixman football this season. Wilson, a junior, and Robertus, a senior, led the Bulldogs to the Eastern C championship this season. Other Eastern C players voted All-State were Savage’s senior Sayer Erickson, Jordan’s senior Kaleb Bollinger, Savage’s senior Zane Pilgeram and Jordan’s senior Jayden Saylor.

Circle Wins State Title

The Circle Wildcats went through the Class C state volleyball tournament undefeated to win the state championship in Bozeman on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Wildcats defeated Gardiner in the title match in a four-set match 27-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-17. Circle finished the season with a 30-0 record. Circle opened state tournament play by defeating White Sulphur Springs, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18, 25-15.
